Social responsibility: our fundamental principle
In light of the approaching Festive Season, HTHS has launched its long-term charity campaign to help those most in need. Within the framework of this programme, HTHS provides a wide variety of food products – every year, around the festive season, and within the year when opportunity arises - to help groups including children's homes and family service centres. The donations go through The Food Bank Singapore, who proved to be one of the most experienced charity organisations in Singapore, and has the knowledge and network to reach those vulnerable target groups.
This year the Embassy of Hungary in Singapore joined first this cause, and provided essential logistic and administrative help in the donation process. Mr Janos Stefan, Trade Attaché of Hungary was also present when the first packages reached Food Bank’s warehouse.

Mr Gergo Szanko, the Head of Operations of HTHS said: “I and my colleagues want to work for a company that contributes to and is part of the community. Of course, there is time for business, but there must be time for seeking and aiding a good cause too, such as helping those who are in need. We want to build something to really believe in, where this long-term campaign is just the beginning of our initiation. I want to express my gratitude towards the Embassy of Hungary in Singapore, who took up this initiation, and helped us in many ways in this effort.”
HTHS and the Embassy of Hungary are strongly committed to draw Hungarian and Singaporean people closer to each other, not just on the field of business cooperation, but also in culture, common understanding, and from now, in social responsibility as well.
